Gaelyn Scuderi, M.D. is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology and fellowship-trained in Breast Imaging and Intervention. As the Director of Imaging at Ackerman Cancer Center, she manages the Center’s Breast Care Program.
Dr. Scuderi received her medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia, VCU School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Radiology and a fellowship in Breast Imaging and Intervention at the University of Florida College of Medicine, and held a position as Assistant Professor of Radiology at the University of Florida. Prior to that, Dr. Scuderi proudly served for four years at Naval Station Mayport as General Medical Officer and Senior Medical Officer for the ships of Destroyer Squadron 14.
Dr. Scuderi has a passion for cancer prevention and oncology imaging, particularly in the early detection and diagnosis of breast cancer. In her free time, Dr. Scuderi enjoys running, yoga, and spending time with her husband and two children.
