SHINE Breast Cancer Support Group- February 2022

We are pleased to announce February’s SHINE Breast Cancer Support Group speaker, Ms. Shala M. McMoore, MBA-HCM. Ms. McMoore is the Regional Manager at Invitae and her focus is on Oncology/ Women’s Health. She will be presenting on genetic testing and breast cancer.
SHINE is an interactive breast cancer support group that provides an uplifting environment to encourage meaningful and helpful conversation, education, and activities. Through SHINE, our goal is to help women with breast cancer make informed treatment decisions, equip them with tools to ease the challenges of treatment, and most importantly, share support and encouragement during and after breast cancer. SHINE is open to everyone in the breast cancer community.

As always, Ackerman Cancer Center holds our patients’ and community’s health as a top priority. We are looking forward to once again offering an in-person option for SHINE. We will have social distancing guidelines in place, and will still offer a virtual option through Zoom for those who would like to stay home and tune in.
