Happy 2022! Ackerman Cancer Center’s SHINE Breast Cancer Support Group is BACK!
We are pleased to announce January’s SHINE Breast Cancer Support Group speaker, Ms. Jamie Buller, Director of Advanced Care Planning at Community Hospice of NE Florida. Ms. Buller will be presenting on advanced directives and the Honoring Choices program, which provides patients with the tools to create a living will and declare a healthcare surrogate.
SHINE is an interactive breast cancer support group that provides an uplifting environment to encourage meaningful and helpful conversation, education, and activities. Through SHINE, our goal is to help women with breast cancer make informed treatment decisions, equip them with tools to ease the challenges of treatment, and most importantly, share support and encouragement during and after breast cancer. SHINE is open to everyone in the breast cancer community.
