Nurse Practitioner

Katrina Evans, APRN received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of North Florida in 2008 and her Masters of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner subspecialty from Jacksonville University in 2015. She worked in pediatric oncology for 13 years prior to joining Ackerman Cancer Center as a Nurse Practitioner.

Together with the other providers and clinic staff, Katrina supports patients currently undergoing radiation treatment and manages patients’ long-term follow-up care—including genetic counseling, symptom management, and long-term follow-up care. She is dedicated to ensuring that patients, their families, and caregivers have the support they need at every step of their journey.

Katrina is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and has called Jacksonville home since 1989.
