
Babita Jyoti, MD, MRCP (UK), FRCR, has a Fellowship in proton therapy from the University of Florida. She is one of the first physicians in the US to have completed a 2-year dedicated fellowship in both Adult and Pediatric proton beam therapy and has been a passionate proponent of proton therapy and has been in the practice of proton therapy since 2014.
She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and the Royal College of Radiologists, having completed a Residency in Internal Medicine, as well as a dual residency in Medical and Radiation Oncology at The Christie Hospital and Clatterbridge Cancer Centre in the UK before moving to Florida.
Dr. Jyoti has published extensively including several book chapters, and peer review articles in international oncology journals. She has presented her work at several international oncology conferences and has also given invited oral presentations of her research work at prominent conferences at Memorial Sloan Kettering, New York, and St Judes Childrens Research Hospital in Memphis. She has edited several books in the British Medical Journal, clinical review series and has served as an examiner for medical students at Manchester Medical School.
She is a strong advocate of providing outstanding patient centered care and her focus always remains on her patients. She is a firm believer in delivering individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient. She is an advocate for screening and early detection of cancer. Outside of work she loves spending time with her family, reading, and staying active. She enjoys hiking, traveling, and watching Formula One.
