
Katrina Evans, APRN, earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Florida in 2008 and her Master of Science in Nursing, with honors, as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Jacksonville University in 2015. Prior to joining Ackerman Cancer Center, she spent 13 years as a Registered Nurse caring for children and families in pediatric oncology.
At Ackerman Cancer Center, Katrina works closely with physicians and clinic staff to support patients throughout their radiation treatment and beyond. Her role includes long-term follow-up care, genetic counseling coordination, and comprehensive symptom management. She is deeply committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care and ensuring that patients, families, and caregivers feel informed and supported at every stage of the cancer journey.
Katrina is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and the
American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with
family and friends and is active in her church community.
